St Martin’s Junior Choir was founded in 2022 to offer children the opportunity to experience high-quality choral music and actively participate in the liturgy at St Martin-in-the-Fields. Open to boys and girls aged 7-13, the choir is currently led by director Jennifer Sterling and is deeply rooted in St Martin’s rich musical tradition.
From September 2025, the Junior Choir will lead a new Sunday noon service at St Martin’s on the second Sunday of each month. They will also rehearse from 5pm – 6.30pm on Monday evenings, alongside engaging workshops designed to enhance their musical abilities and develop their understanding of music theory. All sessions take place during term time, with breaks aligning with state school holidays.
This unique opportunity provides professional-level musical training – completely free of charge – while fostering lasting friendships and offering unforgettable experiences, such as performing in our annual sold-out Christmas concerts and recording for Classic FM.

Noon Service
The Noon Service is a warm and welcoming act of worship designed for those who prefer a gathering slightly later in their day. This shorter, accessible service blends beautiful choral music, thoughtful theology, and visually engaging storytelling – perfect for individuals and families alike.
Led by the Junior Choir of St Martin-in-the-Fields, the service features hymns, a Bible reading, a creative presentation, prayers, and inspiring choral music – all thoughtfully woven together.
Come as you are – whether you’re exploring faith or deepening it – and find a moment of peace, beauty, and community. A 40-minute service at 12.00pm, on the second Sunday of every month.
